The Carolina Lowcountry
A Photographic Journey

Join Van Bulck Photography as we travel through the Lowcountry of South Carolina. These trips are open to all photographers, from beginner to professional. Whenever possible, groups will be divided by level of photographic expertise to best accommodate everyone. Photographers will receive as much or as little individual attention as they wish. Regardless, the locations we will be visiting will lend themselves to anyone interested in photographing the beauty of the natural world in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Depending on the number of days selected, we will visit one or more counties.. We will visit a coastal harbor town to photograph shrimp boats and surrounding marshlands. We will also visit public protected land in search of alligators and water fowl. We will photograph sunrise and/or sunset as weather permits. One-day trips will focus on Georgetown County. Two- and three-day trips will include Georgetown, Charleston, and/or Dorchester Counties.
Half-day trips are $125. One-day trips are $250. per person. Two-day trips are $450. Three-day trips are $600. Group discounts are available. Included are entrance fees where required, along with water, soft drinks and snacks. Meals and overnight lodging are not included. Participants will receive a list of available lodging nearby. Participants will also need to provide their own transportation, as we will caravan to most locations. We will break for lunch each day at a restaurant that offers a variety of food choices, including Lowcountry favorites whenever possible. If we won’t be near a restaurant at lunchtime, a box lunch will be provided.

A Lowcountry Journey
(For Non-photographers)
Running Continuously
These trips are similar to the photography trips listed above but are designed for anyone interested in seeing the natural environment of the South Carolina Lowcountry without the emphasis on photography. These trips are ideal for families or golfers’ significant others who are looking for an exciting day on the water while the golfer in the group is on the golf course. We encourage you to bring a camera, because you will definitely want to preserve your memories of this trip!
